The food and service were great. Lots of menu options with good sauces/salad dressings. Must try the fried green beans!
The food was Amazing!!! Highly recommend the meatloaf! Our server was awesome! I can't say enough about this place! The only negative thing was almost $4 for a coke! Seems a little bit high for a carbonated beverage? But the ambiance was family friendly and quaint. I would definitely recommend it to anyone!
Where do I start with this review? That's easy! Austin our server, such a passion for what he's doing, cares about the customer, excellent communicator, knows every detail on the menu and paid great respect to the back of the house. Austin was such a pleasure to talk with and made our dining experience even more enjoyable with his friendly family attitude. Also have to send out a big ups to Joe the GM, he was all over the restaurant, stopping by every table, asking everyone how their service and meal was. Joe cares about those coming into the restaurant and is an outstanding and very respectful business representative. The food at Lyncoya is FIRE! I've eaten meatloaf at 50 different restaurants and make great meatloaf, theirs was the best I've ever eaten, it actually took me aback because it was that shockingly good, it was sublime, flavor, texture, and the Demi glaze was superb, the mashed potato's soo good but the surprise was the battered and deep friend green beans, I was shocked at how good they were. My wife had the pot roast and once again FIRE! So tender, such depth of flavor. This was our first time eating at Lyncoya, and it t won't be the last. Can't forget to give a shout out to the Incredible chefs at the back of the house who are producing recipes that are made with fresh ingredients from scratch and adding an obvious heaping of love into every serving. Thank you Joe, Austin and the awesome chefs all working hard to treat people like family and care for each table they're waiting on.
Although they have been open a number of years, my wife and I never ate here as the restaurant name implied a different type of food than what it actually is. When I found out it was American food, a coworker and I tried it for lunch. It was a rainy Tuesday, yet the parking lot and restaurant were packed, which was a good sign. Although it was very busy, we only waited 6 or 7 minutes. The firecracker chicken sandwich, poutine, and vegetable soup were all delicious. My coworker lives in Murfreesboro, which is well over an hour away. He liked it so much that he said it's worth driving that far to bring his family. Thankfully, I live in Hendersonville, so it's close to me. I look forward to bringing my wife. I know she'll like it as well.
To avoid the rush, it's best to arrive early at Lyncoya Cafe. It's a fantastic spot to enjoy some scrumptious homemade meals. The aroma of the Poutine was irresistible, with its delectable fries drenched in rib gravy, accompanied by meaty bits and melted cheese curds, all crowned with crispy fried onion strings. Even though I'm a vegan, it still made my mouth water. Eden, our server, did a great job assisting me in choosing a vegan and allergy-friendly option from the menu. I ended up ordering the western wrap with some modifications. The rest of my group also enjoyed their meals, satisfying even my picky in-laws who left full and happy they had leftovers for later. The place is adorned with a Nashville flair, giving it a unique touch. There is ample parking available. But remember to secure a spot amidst the bustling crowd, it's best to arrive early. They come for the delectable meals that never fail to satisfy everyone's taste buds.
A favorite cafe of mine. The kitchen outperforms, preparing outstanding flavors with superb presentation. Previously, the location was a sandwich shop and a local meat and 3. Not the location you expect fine dining. It is totally different now. When they first opened everyone was packed in the lobby waiting for a table. No reservations, just a wait list, since then, they take your cell number and you wait in your car/outside until called. Wait time estimates are pretty accurate. Casual seating at tables and booths, you can share appetizers and then enjoy your main course. I like them all. (I miss the caprise salad) Dishes do change seasonally with the growing season but the proteins hold pretty steady. Totally worth it. Navigate the parking lot carefully.
I've been to Lyncoya many times but just now got around to writing this review. Just left the restaurant for a family lunch. They were fairly busy and stated to us a 15 minute wait but it was only around 5 minutes. Our server was attentive and prompt and very courteous. The restaurant was clean as always and I was pleased to see people cleaning tables properly and disinfecting them in between guests. The food was great and I think was even better than other times I've been. Ordered the Cobb salad with Firecracker chicken. It was huge and very flavorful. Other meals in our group were the Pot roast and the House burger, which is ridiculously large with 2 massive 8 oz patties. Also the West Coast Wrap which was delicious. If you're looking for a fresh, well-cooked meal, this is your place! Enjoy!
The Poutine w short rib gravy is killer. This is an absolute must order item. It's drowning in that amazing gravy and bits of cheese curds, soooo good. Fried Green Beans are seasoned well and the Philly was delicious and flavorful. The only thing we didn't like was the Chicken Tortilla Soup, it was really bland but thankfully we were full from everything else to care much. Overall, food here is incredible. We kept hearing wonderful things about this place and now we know why!
